I spent four years in the Hudson valley, probably one of the most beautiful places on earth, and I took it for granted. There is so much beauty and hope in nature and instead of properly embracing it, I ran away and took photographs of things falling apart  in cities like Troy and Albany. I didn't realize that I was surrounded by endless inspiring beauty. Looking through old photographs from my time at Bard, I came across images that reminded me of the heaven I unknowingly inhabited.
